Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to study wildlife from Alaska to Ecuador. Now my two children—Julia (age 9) and Owen (age 7)—join Paul and me in the field. Most recently, we all spent 5 weeks studying Neotropical migratory birds that winter in shade-coffee farms in the Venezuelan Andes.
