WHO WE ARE

MEET STONE LAB

We’re The Ohio State University’s island campus on Lake Erie within the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES) School of Environment and Natural Resources, hosting 20 college-credit courses and resume-building workshops each and every summer on our six-acre island in Put-in-Bay harbor. If you’re looking for learning outside the box — outside the classroom — you’ve come to the right place.

Take a Course

We offer classes from Aquatic Biology to Zoology — and plenty in between.

Conduct Research

Our eight-week fellowship program gives college students hands-on experience with data collection and analysis.

Visit Us

We also offer educational field trips and group tours for visitors of all ages.
